Since teaching reading using units of study has been acknowledged to increase students' depth of understanding of text, Dr. Serafini has published his collection of favorite text sets for teachers to use. The time consuming search for quality literature has been done, thus providing teachers with more planning time for how to use the books in a unit of study in the classroom.
